Minnesota Duluth landed a three-year varsity veteran forward from Eagan High School who’s led the Wildcats in goals scored.
And she’s only a sophomore.
Taylor Anderson verbally committed to join the Bulldogs in 2018-19 via her Twitter account late Wednesday night. She began playing on the Wildcats varsity as an eighth grader, scoring 12 goals and 13 assists in 26 games. As a freshman she posted a team-high 23 goals, plus 18 assists, in 28 games and followed that up with a team-high 22 goals, plus 26 assists, in 28 games as a sophomore.
Last summer Anderson participated in the USA Hockey girls under-18 player development camp in St. Cloud and led all skaters in scoring with six points off a goal and five assists.
